ZOA Energy $3 Million Settlement Deadline Approaching: How to File Your Claim

ZOA Energy $3 Million Settlement Deadline Approaching: How to File Your Claim

ZOA Energy has agreed to a $3 million settlement over a class action lawsuit alleging the company misled consumers by labeling its energy drinks as containing "0 Preservatives."

If you've bought ZOA Energy drinks in the past few years, you may be eligible for up to $150. The deadline to file is February 20, 2026.

What the Lawsuit Alleges

The lawsuit claims that ZOA Energy drinks contained citric and ascorbic acids — both of which can function as chemical preservatives — despite the "0 Preservatives" statement on the label. The case was filed in California federal court in 2023.

ZOA Energy, co-founded by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, denies any wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid further litigation. As part of the settlement, ZOA also agreed to update its labeling going forward.
