Joint Juice $90 Million Settlement: How to File Your Claim

Joint Juice's maker, Premier Nutrition, has agreed to two class action settlements worth a combined $90 million over allegations that its glucosamine supplements didn't actually deliver the joint health benefits they advertised.

The settlements cover consumers across nine states who purchased Joint Juice products — including ready-to-drink beverages, easy shots, and powder mixes — during specific time periods.

Who qualifies

There are two separate settlement classes:

The New York settlement, valued at roughly $19.16 million, covers anyone who purchased any Joint Juice product in New York between December 5, 2013 and December 28, 2021.

The multi-state settlement, valued at roughly $70.8 million, covers consumers who purchased Joint Juice products in California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, or Pennsylvania. The eligible purchase windows vary by state but generally fall between 2009 and 2022.

New York class members can receive up to $50 per unit of Joint Juice purchased. If you're claiming six units or fewer, you don't need proof of purchase. Claiming more than six units requires receipts or order confirmations.

Multi-state class members can receive between $10 and $25 per unit, depending on the product. The same six-unit rule applies — no proof needed for six or fewer, proof required beyond that.

Some consumers may not need to do anything at all. If you received an email or postcard identifying you as a "direct payment class member," your payment will be sent automatically.

All payment amounts may go up or down depending on how many people file claims.

How to file

Claim forms for both settlements are available at JointJuiceSettlement.com. You'll need the unique ID and PIN from your settlement notice to file online.

You have until May 15, 2026 to file your claim.

Final approval hearings are scheduled for April 30, 2026 (New York) and May 5, 2026 (multi-state). Payouts typically begin after final approval and any appeals are resolved.

What the lawsuit alleged

The class action lawsuits claimed Premier Nutrition deliberately misrepresented the health benefits of glucosamine, the main ingredient in Joint Juice. According to the complaints, glucosamine doesn't actually improve joint health and mobility as advertised. Premier Nutrition has not admitted any wrongdoing.
