Dapper Labs Settles $5 Million Privacy Lawsuit Over NBA Top Shot, NFL All Day, Disney Pinnacle, and More

Dapper Labs has agreed to a $5 million settlement over allegations that it shared users' personal data with third-party companies — including Meta, Google, Microsoft, Snapchat, Reddit, X, and TikTok — without consent.
The class action lawsuit alleged that Dapper Labs violated the Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA) by disclosing personally identifiable information from its online subscribers to third parties through tracking pixels embedded on its websites.

Who qualifies?

You may be eligible if you held an active account on any of the following Dapper Labs platforms at any time between June 15, 2020, and January 30, 2025:

How much could you get?

Class members can receive a cash payment of up to $5. The final amount depends on how many people file claims.

You'll need the unique ID and PIN from your settlement notice, plus proof of your Dapper Labs account — either your username and email address or a screenshot of your account profile.
